Asahikawa is seeking residents’ views on an outline for a new cultural hall, with comments accepted from October 21 through November 23. Three explanation and discussion sessions will also be held at the existing Civic Culture Hall.
The sessions are scheduled for October 30, 6–7 p.m., and November 3 and 4, 1:30–2:30 p.m. Each takes place in meeting room 2 on the second floor. End times are approximate, and the explanation is generally the same at each session. Registration is required by 5 p.m. on the preceding day, by telephone or the city’s online form.
The outline is part of work to replace the existing hall and set out the proposed facility’s functions and scale. Residents can submit comments without attending a meeting; those views will inform preparation of the basic plan.
旭川市、新文化ホール基本計画の骨子で説明会と意見募集
旭川市は市民文化会館の建替えに向け、新文化ホール基本計画案の骨子について10月21日～11月23日に意見を募集する。説明・意見交換会は同会館2階第2会議室で、10月30日午後6～7時、11月3・4日午後1時30分～2時30分に開催予定。終了時刻は目安で、各回の説明は原則同じ。参加希望日の前日午後5時までに電話または市のフォームで申し込む。施設の機能や規模を検討する段階で、説明会への参加にかかわらず意見を提出でき、基本計画策定の参考とする。
