Tottori Prefecture’s October 28 announcement schedules its dune Halloween programme for October 31, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the dunes and nearby facilities. The prefecture’s current event page says runway applications closed October 30 at 6 p.m. and that the October 30 photography tour was cancelled because of rain.
The current programme places the parade inside the dunes from 4:10 to 4:25 p.m. Visitors must check the location for each activity. The parade does not require advance registration. This is an announced programme, not a report that today’s activities have already taken place.

Using the dunes as a setting gives a familiar seasonal celebration a place-specific character. For someone travelling specifically to participate, however, a closed entry deadline or cancelled component can change the value of the trip. The current programme matters more than an older headline; neither version demonstrates an increase in inbound visitor numbers.

砂丘を舞台にすることで、季節の行事にその土地ならではの特徴が加わる。ただし参加を目的に移動する人には、申込終了や一部企画の中止が旅の意味を変える。古い見出しより現行の日程が重要であり、いずれの案内も訪日客数の増加を示す実績ではない。
