Seiko announced on October 29 that its Solfeggio women’s softball team will host a free festival on November 14 at Churu Stadium Shimizu. The programme runs 9 a.m.–1 p.m., with reception from 8:40. Rain will cancel it. Advance applications close November 6 at 5 p.m.; the notice also allows same-day participation.

Player-led catch and batting activities sit alongside boccia, disc golf, food trucks and a flea market. The T-ball competition is separately restricted to partner companies and requires booking. The team belongs to Japan’s women’s softball league; the announcement reports a 2025 league title.

Local perspective

The mix of softball and other games provides several entry points for people who do not normally watch league matches. Direct contact with players can make a company team visible as part of local community life. Those opportunities do not, by themselves, demonstrate lasting participation growth.
