The seminar is for student-council members and other students interested in community development. It runs from a 10 a.m. opening to a planned 3:30 p.m. finish at the Yonezawa Chamber of Commerce’s new building, with registration from 9:30 a.m. A young entrepreneur’s talk, visits to local shopping streets and a workshop are scheduled.
The prefectural board of education’s Youth House organises the programme to help students recognise local strengths and build networks across schools. Participants should bring lunch, drinks and warm clothing for the outdoor visits. Insurance costs remain payable for cancellations after 4 p.m. on December 8. Event photographs may be used on websites or social media; participants can ask not to be included.

山形県青年の家は12月13日、米沢商工会議所の新会館で、県内高校などの生徒会役員や地域づくりに関心のある生徒を対象に講座を開く。学校単位でメール申込みを行い、締切は11月27日午後4時。保険料は1人100円で、申込状況によって人数調整の可能性がある。受付は午前9時30分、開講10時、解散は午後3時30分の予定。青年起業家の話、商店街でのフィールドワーク、ワークショップなどを通じ、地域の魅力を見つめ直し、学校を超えた交流を図る。昼食・飲み物・防寒具を持参する。12月8日午後4時以降のキャンセルは保険料の負担が必要。写真をホームページやSNSなどに使う場合があり、掲載を希望しない人は申し出られる。
