Vehicle repair businesses can use Okayama Prefecture’s online system at any time to check whether a vehicle-tax payment certificate must be presented for a continuing inspection. Guidance updated October 23, 2026 limits inquiries to eligible vehicles with Okayama, Oka or Kurashiki registration plates; light vehicles and motorcycles require inquiries to the registration municipality instead.
The system checks the need to present a certificate, rather than conducting the vehicle inspection. Users need prefecture-issued login details, the registration number and the last four digits of the chassis number. Up to ten vehicles can be checked together. Login details are issued for each authorised workshop, normally about a week after application. Vehicles transferred into Okayama during the fiscal year require an inquiry to their prefecture of registration on April 1.

岡山県は10月23日更新の案内で、自動車整備事業者が継続検査時の自動車税納税証明書の提示要否をオンラインでいつでも確認できると説明しています。対象は岡山・岡・倉敷ナンバーの対象車両で、軽自動車・自動二輪は登録市町村への確認が必要です。県発行のログイン情報、登録番号、車台番号下4桁を使い、最大10台を一括照会できます。認証工場ごとのログイン情報発行は申請から通常1週間程度です。 年度途中に岡山県へ転入登録した車両は4月1日時点の登録都道府県への確認が必要です。
