Asahikawa is accepting applications through November 20, 2026, from local groups seeking donated long-life milk for children and families. Eligible activities include children’s community meal services, food pantries and direct food deliveries to households raising children.
The project uses donations from rice producers to provide milk manufactured in Asahikawa. The product can be stored at room temperature and comes in sets of twenty-four 200-millilitre cartons.
Groups must apply through the linked online form and collect the milk at either the Kagura or Nagayama outlet of JA Asahikawa’s Asagao farm shop. Distribution is planned from late November to mid-December. Quantities will be adjusted according to participant numbers and other factors, so requested amounts are not guaranteed; details are expected around the fourth week of November.
旭川市、こども食堂などへ牛乳を寄贈する団体募集
旭川市は11月20日まで、市内のこども食堂やフードパントリー、子育て家庭への食材配布などを行う団体から、ロングライフ牛乳の寄贈希望を受け付けている。米生産者の寄附金を活用し、旭川で製造された常温保存可能な200ミリリットル入り牛乳を24本単位で提供する。申込は案内先のオンラインフォームから。受取場所はJAあさひかわの直売所「あさがお」の神楽店か永山店で、寄贈は11月下旬～12月中旬を予定。数量は参加人数などで調整し、希望どおりになるとは限らない。詳細は11月第4週をめどに連絡する。
