Kanagawa Prefecture has scheduled AI service-robot trials at two prefectural vocational schools from October 16, 2026, until around February 2027, according to an October 15 announcement. At the eastern school, the robot is intended to guide visitors around the campus. At the western school, it will provide guidance at smart open-campus events and other occasions. The initiative aims to give residents opportunities to interact with robots while supporting staff work.
神奈川県、2つの県立技術校で案内ロボットの試行を計画
神奈川県は10月15日、県立東部総合職業技術校と県立西部総合職業技術校で、AIサービスロボットを試行導入する計画を発表しました。期間は2026年10月16日から2027年2月ごろまでとしています。東部校では来校者の校内案内、西部校ではスマートオープンキャンパスなどでの施設案内を予定。県民がロボットと関わる機会をつくり、職員の業務も支援する狙いです。
