Around 50 engineers and other personnel from companies in Aomori Prefecture will be eligible for a free seminar on electrostatic control on November 25, the prefecture said in an October 23 announcement.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the second-floor training room of the Industrial Research Institute’s IoT development support building in Nogi, Aomori City.
The institute plans to cover the basics of static electricity, related problems, basic countermeasures and demonstrations using measuring instruments. Its sector-specific examples extend from assembly and injection moulding to food production, placing the subject within several kinds of local manufacturing.
A separate consultation session with the lecturer is planned for the following day. It requires advance registration and is limited to the first two companies to apply; that two-company limit applies to the consultation rather than the main seminar.

青森県は10月23日、県内企業の技術者等約50人を対象とする無料の静電気対策セミナーを、11月25日午前10時～午後4時に開くと発表した。会場は青森市野木の工業総合研究所IoT開発支援棟2階研修室。静電気の基礎、静電気による問題、対策の基本、測定器を使った実演などを扱い、組立、射出成型、食品分野まで複数の製造分野の事例を紹介する。翌日は講師による別の個別相談会も予定し、事前申込・先着2社に限る。この2社の枠は個別相談会のもので、セミナー本体の約50人とは別。
