First- and second-year junior-high pupils who live or study in Chiba can apply by November 20 for a work-experience programme with Oriental Land and its group companies on February 7, 2027.
About 60 places span 17 types of work, including hotel-room duties and planting maintenance. Participation is free, while transport, lunch and similar expenses are borne by participants. Applications can be made individually or in pairs through the prefecture’s electronic application service. A lottery will be used if applications exceed capacity, with results due in early December.
The programme is intended to help children consider future career choices. It is one of the activities arising from a broad agreement on culture and the arts signed by Chiba and Oriental Land in January 2023. The prefecture announced this year’s recruitment on October 19.
千葉県、中学1・2年向け職場体験を11月20日まで募集
千葉県は10月19日、県内在住または在学の中学1・2年生向けに、オリエンタルランドとグループ会社での職場体験を案内した。開催は2027年2月7日で、ホテル客室業務や植栽管理等17種類、約60人分を用意する。参加無料だが交通費・昼食代等は自己負担。11月20日まで県の電子申請から個人または2人組で応募でき、応募多数時は抽選、結果は12月上旬に連絡する。子どもの進路選択に役立てることを目的に、県と同社が2023年1月に締結した文化芸術等の包括連携協定に基づいて実施する。
