Okayama has announced 245 places for nationwide recruitment at participating prefectural high-school courses in the 2027 admissions round. The published allocation comprises 207 places for special selection and 38 for general selection.
Places are assigned by school and department, rather than forming a single pool open across all courses. The list includes general, business, technical and other programmes, each with its own allocation. Applicants need to check the relevant school information and the prefecture’s separate admissions rules.
Under this system, a course can fill its nationwide allocation through special selection; general selection is held if that allocation has not been filled. The figures describe recruitment capacity, not a guarantee of admission, and the announcement does not by itself establish an applicant’s eligibility.
