Gunma Prefecture has scheduled the first-stage selection test for public-school teachers to be hired in fiscal 2028 for July 4, 2027. The second stage is planned for late August to early September 2027.
The prefecture says it will continue using its own first-stage questions rather than introduce the shared-question distribution system being prepared by a council of local authorities. Full recruitment guidelines are due to be published in late March 2027.
