For Tanegashima, the next-day schedule lists mine-countermeasure and shoreline-obstacle clearance training, joint command training, information-gathering training and preparations. These are announced plans, rather than confirmation that every activity has taken place.

鹿児島県、霧島演習場と種子島での10月24日の訓練予定を公表
鹿児島県が10月23日に掲載した現地連絡所の情報では、24日の霧島演習場で航空機の飛来、共同指揮機関訓練、対着上陸戦闘訓練などを予定している。種子島では対機雷戦・水際障害処理、共同指揮機関、情報収集の各訓練や準備を挙げる。日米共同統合演習キーン・ソード27に関する住民向けの予定情報で、実施済みを示すものではない。23日報告は別途、22日に米軍人若干名が種子島から撤収したと記しており、全員撤収とはしていない。
