Otaru Tourism Association’s October 28 notice lists a haunted-house experience at Rishiriya Minoya’s Sakaimachi Chuo shop through October 31. Hours are 6–10 p.m., with reception ending at 9 p.m. The experience takes about ten minutes. Admission costs 3,000 yen per group of up to four people, or 2,500 yen for groups using the Otaru overnight-stay rate with proof of accommodation.
Reservations take priority. Sending the booking form does not secure a slot: the office checks availability and confirms by email. Walk-ins are accepted only when spaces remain. Elementary-school children and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. The local Halloween committee, based in the Sakaimachi shopping-street association, is the organiser.
Local perspective
A short evening activity can fit around other plans in the shopping district, while the group price makes the size of a party relevant to the cost per person. The overnight-stay rate explicitly connects admission with local accommodation. That is a pricing link, not evidence that the event creates extra overnight stays.
小樽の夜のお化け屋敷、10月31日まで・予約は返信で確定
小樽観光協会の10月28日案内では、利尻屋みのや堺町中央店のお化け屋敷体験を10月31日まで実施。18～22時、最終受付21時、体験約10分。最大4人の1組3,000円で、小樽市内宿泊の確認書類を提示する宿泊者料金は1組2,500円。予約優先でフォーム送信だけでは確定せず、空きを確認後の事務局メールで確定する。当日受付は空きがある場合のみ。小学生以下は保護者同伴。主催は商店街振興組合を窓口とする小樽ハロウィン実行委員会。
独自考察
短い夜の体験は商店街での別の予定と組み合わせやすく、組単位の料金では同行人数が1人当たりの負担を左右する。宿泊者料金は入場と市内宿泊を直接結びつける仕組みだ。ただし料金上の接点であり、追加の宿泊を生んだという実績ではない。
