Nara is seeking proposals for videos introducing the Asuka and Fujiwara imperial capitals, with participation statements due by 5 p.m. on November 13. Project proposals follow by 5 p.m. on November 26, according to its October 23 announcement.
The specification calls for an approximately five-minute film in each of Japanese, English, French, Korean and Chinese. A separate, roughly 30-second video with Japanese and English text would direct visitors to the World Heritage guidance corner inside the Nara Prefecture Complex of Man’yo Culture.
The project connects explanations of the heritage property’s value with practical guidance intended to encourage visits and travel among its sites. The planned completion deadline is March 12, 2027. Questions about the proposal process are due by 5 p.m. on October 30.
