Lake Biwa Museum’s current anniversary exhibition has surpassed the attendance record for its previous special exhibitions, Shiga Prefecture announced on October 21. The record was broken on October 18; the announcement does not provide a visitor total.
The exhibition, which opened July 18, examines Lake Biwa through the work of fish researchers. It forms part of the museum’s 30th-anniversary program. A ceremony on October 20 marked both the attendance milestone and the anniversary of the museum’s opening.
