Asahikawa Central Library will host its 28th library festival on November 3, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The venue is the library in Tokiwa Park, and visitors of any age can attend, although some activities have capacity limits.
The programme includes volunteer storytelling, exhibitions, workshops and food sales. A mobile library will be open outside the main entrance from 9:30 a.m., and a storytelling session begins at 10:15 a.m. A stamp rally links five volunteer-group activities.
The annual festival uses Culture Day, the November 3 holiday, as an opportunity to introduce residents to library services. Visitors can check the library’s published programme for the arrangements for each activity.
