Businesses operating in Gunma with a head office or other workplace in the prefecture can apply for its certification scheme for appropriate employment of foreign workers. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and certification lasts three years with renewal available.
The scheme has two levels. Standard certification requires four commitments or practices, including compliance with labour laws and use of a residence-card reader app; employers need not currently employ foreign workers. Advanced certification is for employers that do, and adds language support in recruitment plus at least seven of thirteen further criteria. Applicants submit the application and checklist by email and should consult the prefecture’s full requirements.

群馬県は、県内で事業を行い本社や事業所等を持つ事業者を対象に、外国人の適正雇用に関する認証を随時募集しています。有効期間は3年、更新可。スタンダードは労働法令遵守や在留カード読取アプリ使用など4項目を求め、外国人を現在雇用していなくても申請できます。アドバンストは雇用中の事業者向けで、募集時の言語的配慮など追加要件があります。申請書とチェックシート等をメールで提出します。
