Matsuyama has cancelled the Junior Disaster-Prevention Leaders Club’s October 24 neighbourhood walks because rain is expected. The event had been scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a base at Ehime University’s E.U. Regional Commons.
The original programme was designed for school pupils to compare local hazards and disaster-prevention measures in the Shinonome, Yuzuki and Shimizu districts, then make disaster-preparedness maps. Local volunteer fire corps members and disaster-prevention groups were to support the learning activity.
The cancellation supersedes the earlier event announcement dated October 20. The city’s cancellation page is dated October 23, while its monthly press index lists the update under October 24. It does not announce a replacement date.

松山市は雨天が見込まれるため、10月24日午前10時～午後4時に予定していたジュニア防災リーダークラブの防災まち歩きを中止した。愛媛大学ひめテラスを拠点に、東雲・湯築・清水の3地区の災害リスクや対策を比較し、防災マップを作る企画だった。地域の消防団や自主防災組織などが学習を支える予定だった。10月20日付の開催案内に優先する中止発表で、振替日は示されていない。中止ページの更新日は23日、月別索引の掲載日は24日。
