Asahikawa has updated the preferred operator listed under its fiscal 2025 recruitment for designated residential care services. The October 23 notice names Best Life East Japan and a provisionally named Best Life Asahikawa facility with 104 beds.
The recruitment originally sought 176 beds. The updated list contains one corporation and one establishment, so the 104 beds listed should not be read as the original recruitment total.
The proposed facility is in Miyamae 1-jo 4-chome in Asahikawa. The notice refers to applications accepted from October 14 to November 14, 2025; it is an update to that earlier selection process, rather than a new application round. It identifies a candidate and does not say the facility has already opened.

旭川市は10月23日、2025年度に募集した指定特定施設入居者生活介護事業者等の指定候補者変更を公表した。候補はベストライフ東日本の仮称「ベストライフ旭川」で、市内宮前1条4丁目に104床を整備する計画。募集床数176床に対し、更新された候補一覧は1法人1事業所・計104床。2025年10月14日～11月14日の募集に関する更新で、新規募集や開設済みとの発表ではない。
