All 870 entries submitted to this year’s Kyoto Totteoki arts festival will be displayed at Miyakomesse in Kyoto from November 13 to 15, 2026. Admission is free, and the exhibition in Hall 2 opens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The prefecture has held the festival since fiscal 1995 as a place for people with disabilities to express their individuality and talents. Now in its 32nd edition, it covers seven fields, including painting, ceramics, photography, calligraphy, poetry and crafts. Alongside the exhibition, the program includes brush workshops and a weaving experience on specified days. An art-material reuse project will also distribute materials and stationery free on November 13 and 14, with different closing times for that activity.
