Oita’s Shukusai no Hiroba square will host an international festival on October 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free, according to the city’s October 23 announcement.
The programme brings together stage performances, spaces for exchange and exhibitions, sales stalls and food from around the world. The venue’s full name is Toyota Corolla Oita Shukusai no Hiroba.
Oita City and JICA Kyushu designate October as a month for raising awareness of international cooperation, linked to International Cooperation Day on October 6. The city describes World Festa as the main event in that local programme, organised with international-relations groups.

大分市は10月31日午前10時30分～午後3時30分、トヨタカローラ大分 祝祭の広場で「おおいたワールドフェスタ2026」を開く。入場無料で、ステージパフォーマンス、交流・展示・物販、世界の料理の各ブースを予定する。大分市とJICA九州は10月6日の「国際協力の日」にちなみ、10月を「おおいた国際協力啓発月間」としており、市は国際関係団体と協力して、そのメインイベントとして開催する。市の発表は10月23日。
