A festival introducing care work will take place at Aeon Mall Asahikawa Ekimae on November 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The city’s announcement lists a talk show by Sumiko Nishioka, discussions with current care workers and students, displays, hands-on activities and consultation areas.
The event is part of a Kamikawa subprefectural initiative to improve public understanding of care-sector jobs. By including people already working or studying in the field, its programme offers visitors a chance to hear about the occupation directly.
