Wakayama Prefecture’s October 29 announcement schedules Festa Luce at Porto Europa in Wakayama Marina City from October 31 to February 14. From January 2 onward, the main event runs only on weekends and public holidays. Standard hours are 5–9 p.m., with last admission at 8:30; specified dates have extended hours.
A separate headset-based walking experience is scheduled from November 21 on selected dates. It is not available throughout the full festival period. The announced Christmas market has eighteen shops, combining food and seasonal goods with the evening lighting programme.
Local perspective
The different calendars make the choice of evening central to planning a visit: the main illumination ticket does not by itself establish that every announced experience will be operating. Food stalls create reasons to spend time in the venue alongside looking at lights, but that design is distinct from evidence of higher regional tourism spending.

独自考察
日程が分かれるため、訪問する夜の選択が重要になる。メインのイルミネーションが営業する日でも、発表された体験がすべて実施されるとは限らない。飲食店は光を見る以外の滞在理由にもなるが、その構成と地域の観光消費が増えた実証は別である。
