Employers in Miyazaki can attend a free seminar on recruiting and retaining foreign workers on November 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Hinata Campus in Miyazaki City.
Businesses already employing foreign workers, as well as those considering it, can choose between two concurrent sessions: recruitment basics or training and retention. A discussion with model employers and time for participating companies to exchange information follow. The official flyer gives November 11 as the application deadline and lists rooms 5 and 6 on the second floor at 4-5 Nishikihonmachi.
The event links hiring decisions with training and longer-term support for employees. Parts of the programme will also be streamed online. Individual consultations are available after 4 p.m. for those who reserve in advance.
