A free hands-on technology workshop for ten engineers from companies and other organisations in Aomori Prefecture is scheduled for November 10 in Aomori City. The prefecture announced the event on October 23.
The session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the second-floor design practice room of the Industrial Research Institute’s IoT development support building at 221-10 Yamaguchi, Nogi.
The programme includes the basics of digital transformation and IoT, a tour of the building, no-code programming using wireless microcontrollers, database construction with data-flow software and graph creation with visualisation tools.
The institute presents the hands-on training as an initial step in helping local companies pursue digital transformation, referred to as DX in the announcement. The programme combines that introductory aim with practical work on handling and displaying data.

青森県は10月23日、県内企業等の技術者10人を対象とする無料の「IoT技術セミナー」を、11月10日午前9時30分～午後4時30分に開くと発表した。会場は青森市野木字山口221-10の工業総合研究所IoT開発支援棟2階設計実習室。DX・IoTの基礎、施設見学、無線マイコンを使ったノーコードプログラミング、データフロープログラムによるデータベース構築、可視化ツールによるグラフ作成などを扱う。研究所は県内企業のデジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）推進を支援するため、その第一歩となるIoT技術を体得する実習型研修として実施する。
