About 120 third-year pupils at Konko Gakuen Junior High School are scheduled to take part in a business field study on October 30, 2026. Okayama Prefecture says the programme involves 16 companies, including five based in the prefecture and eleven outside it.

The activity forms part of Okayama’s work with municipalities to address challenges associated with population decline. It uses Locus, an inquiry-learning programme operated by Mynavi, in cooperation with the school.

The visits are scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at participating companies’ premises. The prefecture announced the project on October 23. The programme is an educational activity for the school’s pupils, rather than a general public recruitment event.
