Shiga will hold a free networking event on January 27, 2027, for women managers and people concerned about career development in prefectural businesses and local government. Applications close on January 20, with 40 places available.
The programme runs from 2 to 5 p.m. in the large meeting room on the prefectural government’s East Building seventh floor. It includes case presentations and discussion of workplace challenges. Men can also attend the first, presentation-based part of the event.
The programme addresses the difficulty of finding role models and people to consult when moving into management. A separate, optional social gathering is planned near Otsu Station from around 5:30 p.m., costing approximately 5,000 yen; that charge does not apply to the main networking programme.

滋賀県は2027年1月27日午後2～5時、県庁東館7階大会議室で、県内企業・自治体に勤める女性管理職やキャリア形成に悩む人向けの交流会を開く。参加無料、定員40人、申込締切は1月20日。事例発表と職場の悩み・課題の意見交換を行い、第1部の事例発表には男性も参加できる。管理職としてのロールモデルや相談相手の不足を背景に、経験共有の機会を設ける。別途、午後5時30分から大津駅周辺で任意参加の懇親会を予定し、そちらは約5000円の会費制。
