A meal recreated from records held by the Kumagai family at Iwami Ginzan is to be presented at the historic Kumagai residence on October 30, 2026. The records describe food served to welcome a newly appointed magistrate to the Omori administrative office in the late Edo period, about 200 years ago. A presentation and tasting for invited participants are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Visitors admitted to the residence can view the recreated dishes from 1 to 3 p.m. The public viewing is separate from the invited tasting.
石見銀山の熊谷家住宅、10月30日に再現料理を公開へ
島根県などは、石見銀山の熊谷家に伝わる史料を基に再現した料理を、2026年10月30日に重要文化財の熊谷家住宅で披露します。史料は約200年前の江戸時代後期に、大森代官所へ着任した代官をもてなした料理に関するものです。関係者向けの披露と試食は12時から13時まで。13時から15時までは、熊谷家住宅の入館者も料理を見学できます。一般の見学は、関係者向けの試食とは別です。
