A wine event at Hokkaido’s former government office building in Sapporo is scheduled for November 21 and 22. Co-organiser Interlink Japan announced it on October 28. The first day runs from noon to 8 p.m.; the second from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The general ticket costs 6,000 yen including tax and covers building admission, three 75 ml wine servings, finger food and a rental glass. Additional tasting and a seminar dinner are separate offers. The programme distinguishes comparisons among Hokkaido wineries from tastings focused on grape varieties, while the dinner brings producers into conversation with guests. Tickets are advertised through November 20; the announcement does not establish remaining availability.
Local perspective
Comparing producers and grape varieties offers visitors a way to ask why wines from the same region differ, rather than treating Hokkaido wine as a single flavour. Producer discussion can add a human account of that work. These are learning opportunities in the planned programme; they do not demonstrate increased tourism demand or sales.
