Four libraries in Kagoshima Prefecture are displaying books and information about resolving individual workplace disputes through October 31, 2026. The campaign involves the prefectural library, the Amami prefectural library, Tenmonkan Library and Kagoshima City Library.
Through conciliation, experienced labour-commission members hear the worker’s and employer’s accounts and help them seek a mutually acceptable settlement. The displays introduce this process through selected books, posters, leaflets and cards.
Kagoshima’s labour commission is working with the Kagoshima Labour Bureau during the nationwide October awareness month. This is the third library campaign since the initiative began in the 2024 fiscal year. The announcement also links to information on free labour consultations, without making the library displays themselves consultation appointments.
鹿児島の4図書館、労使トラブルのあっせん制度を紹介
鹿児島県労働委員会は10月31日まで、県立図書館、県立奄美図書館、天文館図書館、鹿児島市立図書館の4館で、個別労働紛争のあっせん制度を紹介している。関連図書やポスター、チラシなどを展示する。あっせんは、労働委員会の委員が労働者と使用者の双方の主張を聴き、歩み寄りによる解決を支援する仕組み。全国的な10月の周知月間に合わせ鹿児島労働局と共同実施し、2024年度開始から3回目となる。案内には無料労働相談会へのリンクもあるが、図書館展示自体を相談会場とはしていない。
