Businesses in Gifu Prefecture can join a free online seminar on November 9 about meeting diverse dietary needs when expanding overseas or serving international visitors. Registration closes at 2 p.m. on November 6, according to the prefecture’s October 23 notice.

The Zoom webinar runs from 10 a.m. to noon. It will feature a keynote by Royal Holdings chairman Tadao Kikuchi and a panel on halal, vegetarian and vegan provision, including examples from Chubu Centrair International Airport during the Asian Games.

The prefecture links dietary diversity to differences in religion, allergies and lifestyles. Its programme treats accommodation of those needs as part of developing overseas markets and responding to inbound tourism.

The session will also introduce prefectural support including online buyer meetings in December, a menu fair at Haneda Airport planned for January 2027 and participation in FOODEX JAPAN 2027 in March. Applications for those support activities will be handled separately from seminar registration.
