The service generally operates from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., within each shop’s opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Eligibility conditions apply, including current residence in Asahikawa, residence there on January 1, 2026, and the filing of income information. People who have completed procedures to move out cannot use this tax-certificate service.
Convenience-store issuance uses a My Number card or a supported smartphone with an electronic certificate to identify the applicant at a multifunction copier. The city asks users to check the certificate year before paying; issued convenience-store certificates cannot be refunded or exchanged.
