Kagoshima Prefecture is inviting up to 40 people to a gender-equality event in Tarumizu on November 7, 2026. The programme runs from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., with doors opening at 1:10 p.m., in the second-floor meeting room of Tarumizu’s commerce and industry association.
The event combines a rakugo storytelling performance about a PTA chairperson, a discussion of local gender equality and a facilitated dialogue workshop. Anyone may apply; registration closes when capacity is reached. The usual application form is temporarily unavailable during emergency maintenance, and the announcement provides an alternative form as well as email and fax options.
