Asahikawa City Hospital will hold a free online session for medical students on November 17, from 6 to 7 p.m. The Zoom event includes a lecture on antibiotics, followed by an introduction to the hospital’s initial clinical-training programme and questions and answers.
The hospital is opening a teaching activity normally provided for its initial trainees to medical students so they can see what its training is like. Registration is through the QR code on the event poster linked from the hospital’s recruitment page.
The October 21 update also states that this year’s recruitment for the 2027 training intake has closed. The lecture is a separate opportunity to learn about the programme; the page says any additional recruitment caused by vacancies would be announced there. Students seeking a hospital visit are directed to separate guidance on the same website.
