Kego Park’s flower-themed Halloween festival in Fukuoka is scheduled for October 28–November 1. Local Development Lab’s October 26 announcement says the park is closed for flowerbed maintenance from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. during October 27–November 1. This is a daytime outing, not a night-time Halloween programme.

A separate flower market runs October 29–31, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Solaria Plaza-side entrance. It offers locally grown cut flowers and student-designed reused-bottle vases. Children, students and community participants helped prepare planters before opening. Decoration seedlings are scheduled for free distribution from 4 p.m. on November 1, while supplies last.

Local perspective

The handmade planters and locally grown flowers let a city-centre display reveal some of the people and production behind it. A visitor can connect a planted space with nearby growers and student makers. Its temporary programme and access restrictions also matter more for planning than the Halloween label alone.
