Amakusa Airport in Kumamoto Prefecture will hold an aviation festival on November 22, 2026, with runway walks, a market and stage performances. The main event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to the prefectural announcement updated on October 21.
The runway walks offer access to an area normally closed to visitors. Four sessions are planned, each lasting about 40 minutes and accommodating 20 people. Applications close on November 15; places will be allocated by lottery if oversubscribed, rather than by application order. Results are due by email by November 17.
A separate aircraft-guidance activity and exterior aircraft tour is limited to 10 elementary-school children, each accompanied by one guardian. It starts at 8:45 a.m., before the main festival. Tower visits require registration at the venue on the day and are first come, first served.

熊本県は、天草空港の空の日フェスタを2026年11月22日に開催すると案内している。主な催しは10時30分～14時30分。通常は入れない滑走路を歩く見学は4回あり、各回約40分・20人。応募は11月15日までで、応募多数の場合は先着順ではなく抽選となり、結果は11月17日までにメールで通知される。小学生10人を対象とする航空機の誘導体験・機体外側の見学は、保護者1人同伴で8時45分から実施。タワー見学は当日会場で先着順に受け付ける。
