Matsuyama reported no violations requiring corrective guidance after inspecting 16 housing construction sites on October 21. The patrol took place from 10 a.m. to noon at residential developments being built for sale in the city.
Nine people participated: six city building-guidance officials and one representative each from three local architectural or construction-industry organisations. The city published the results the same day.
The patrol forms part of municipal work to explain building standards, address unlawful construction and promote a safer urban environment. Its reported result concerns those 16 inspected sites; it does not certify every building in Matsuyama or establish that uninspected construction is compliant. The city says it will continue public awareness work and appropriate guidance on violations.
