Okayama is recruiting participants for free training to help coordinate volunteers after major disasters. The northern session is scheduled for December 18, 2026, at the Green Hills Region Centre in Tsuyama; the southern session is on January 16, 2027, at Central Forest Plumeria in Okayama City. Each venue has 50 places and offers the same programme.
Participants learn how volunteer centres receive requests for help and match volunteers with needs, followed by practical simulations. At both venues, the basic course runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the advanced course from 2 to 5 p.m. Both courses must be completed to register as a disaster volunteer coordinator under the prefecture’s specialist volunteer registration scheme. Applications are accepted online, by email or by fax through the Okayama NPO Centre, using the prefecture’s published guidance.

岡山県は災害ボランティア・コーディネーター養成研修の参加者を募っています。県北会場は2026年12月18日に津山市のグリーンヒルズリージョンセンター、県南会場は2027年1月16日に岡山市のセントラルフォレストPlumeria。各50人、無料で、両会場とも基礎講座10時〜13時、発展講座14時〜17時の同内容です。支援ニーズの受付やボランティアとのマッチングを学びます。県制度への調整役としての登録には両講座の受講が必要。岡山NPOセンターへウェブ、メールまたはFAXで申し込みます。
