Aisho and Shiga Prefecture will collect food donations on October 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., during Eco Life Festa Aisho. The collection point is the Hatsuratsu Dome at Rapport Hatasho, the town’s welfare center in Kano.
The food drive connects donated groceries with local welfare: the food is intended for Aisho’s social welfare council and other recipients. Donated items must have at least one month remaining before their best-before date; fresh foods are excluded. Rice must be from the 2025 or 2026 harvest.
愛荘町と滋賀県、10月31日に食品寄附を受付
愛荘町と滋賀県は10月31日10～15時、町立福祉センター「ラポール秦荘はつらつドーム」（蚊野）で、エコ・ライフフェスタあいしょうの一環として食品寄附を受け付ける。食品を地域福祉につなぐ取組で、集まった品は町社会福祉協議会等へ提供予定。賞味期限が1か月以上残る食品が対象で、生ものは除外。米は2025年産または2026年産に限る。
