Ken Hotel & Resort Holdings announced on October 29 that Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach in Itoman plans winter illuminations from November 1 to February 28, 2027. Hours are 6:30–9 p.m. November admission is restricted to overnight guests, and the main area cannot be entered on November 5 because of a private booking.
The programme uses a main area and a pool area. Overnight guests enter free; the notice lists outside-visitor parking at 200 yen per 30 minutes. Fireworks are planned for December 25–31 at 9 p.m. The organiser describes the event as an activity for the winter period when outdoor swimming is unavailable.
Local perspective
An evening programme gives a beach property a use beyond daytime swimming, illustrating how a resort can design for different seasons. For a visitor, however, the guest-only month and private-booking exception determine whether the trip is feasible. The announcement alone cannot establish additional winter room demand.
糸満の冬イルミ、11月は宿泊者限定で11月1日開始
ケン・ホテル＆リゾートホールディングスは10月29日、糸満市の琉球ホテル＆リゾート名城ビーチで11月1日～2027年2月28日、18時30分～21時に冬のイルミネーションを行うと発表。11月は宿泊者限定で、11月5日は貸切のためメインエリアに入れない。メインとプールの2エリアを使い、宿泊者無料、外来駐車は30分200円との記載。12月25～31日の21時には花火を予定する。主催者は屋外遊泳ができない冬の滞在企画として紹介している。
独自考察
夜の企画は、ビーチ施設に昼間の遊泳とは別の使い方を与え、季節に応じた滞在設計を示す。一方、訪問者にとっては宿泊者限定の月や貸切除外日が実際に行けるかを左右する。発表だけで冬の客室需要増加は判断できない。
