Okayama Prefecture has published a planned intake of 10,545 first-year places at its full-time prefectural high schools for the 2027 school year, down by 80 from the 10,625 listed for 2026.

The school-by-school document covers general, vocational and comprehensive courses, alongside separate tables for part-time and correspondence education and advanced nursing courses. The 10,545 total applies to full-time first-year intake, rather than all of these categories combined.

The document notes that quotas for Okayama Sozan, Kurashiki Amaki and Tsuyama include pupils progressing from their affiliated junior high schools. It also explains where course-specific selection applies. The prefecture’s education authority updated the publication page on October 23.
