Bookings are open for a November 22 tour linking sites associated with the Murakami maritime heritage around Imabari. The city’s October 22 notice lists a museum visit, landing on Noshima, a tidal-current experience and Kirosan Observatory Park among the attractions, using chartered boats and buses.

The itinerary introduces the heritage through both a museum and the island and sea landscape connected with it. Both departures meet and finish at the central ground-floor piloti of Habari, the Imabari Port exchange centre.

The morning option runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and costs 2,500 yen for adults or 1,500 yen for school-age children through high school. The afternoon option runs from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and costs 3,000 yen or 2,000 yen respectively. Preschool children pay 500 yen for either option.

Each departure has 40 places and requires at least 15 participants to operate. Applications through the linked form opened on October 23 and close on November 16, or earlier when full. Setouchi Shimanami Leading is the tour organiser and enquiry contact.
