Wooden toys, small craft goods and hands-on making activities will fill the west-side plaza at JR Matsuyama Station on November 14, 2026. The city lists the market’s hours as 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and asks visitors to use public transport.
Activities include making chopsticks for 500 yen a pair and painting a bench for free. Elementary-school children generally need a guardian for workshops using tools or blades. Rain may change or cancel parts of the program. This is the third event in a recurring station-area project launched in September to bring activity around JR Matsuyama Station and encourage movement through the area in connection with Matsuyama City Station. A participatory display invites visitors to write ideas for the area’s future on leaf-shaped cards.
JR松山駅西口で11月14日に木工市
松山市は2026年11月14日10～15時、JR松山駅西口駅前広場で木工市を開く。木製品販売のほか、箸づくりは1膳500円、ベンチへの塗り絵は無料。工具・刃物を使う体験は原則として小学生に保護者同伴が必要で、雨天時は一部変更・中止の場合がある。9月開始の駅周辺のにぎわい・回遊性づくりの第3回で、公共交通の利用を呼びかけている。
