Visitors to Otaru City General Museum can make a key holder using laptop keyboard keys and UV resin during five November workshops. Sessions run from 1:30 to 2 p.m. on November 7, 14, 15, 28 and 29 in the main building’s second-floor laboratory.
The activity uses familiar computer parts as materials for a hands-on making session. It is open to all ages, but children in the third year of elementary school or below must have a guardian with them.
Each session has 16 places, allocated in order of registration. Participants pay a 200-yen materials charge in addition to museum admission. Registration starts at 1 p.m. on the day at the museum shop, Poppo. The museum updated its programme notice on October 22.
