Tree climbing, craft activities and a day-use hot spring are on the programme for an open day at Tochigi Prefectural Nasu Kogen Nature House on November 7, 2026. The event at the centre in Yumoto, Nasu, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to everyone. Admission is free, although some programmes charge a fee.
The prefecture says the open day is intended to introduce residents to the nature centre and nearby facilities. Participating organisations include the Nasu Kogen Visitor Center, Nasu Animal Kingdom, Tochigi Kaihin Nature House and Nasu Heisei-no-mori, with activities ranging from tree climbing and snow-globe making to a forest-sound quiz.
Other planned activities include a taiko performance by Nasu Kogen Elementary School pupils, small gym games and an indoor stamp rally. Visitors are asked to bring indoor shoes, and those intending to bathe should also bring a bath towel. The notice does not give individual programme fees.
なす高原自然の家、11月7日に体験ブースなどのオープンデー
栃木県立なす高原自然の家は11月7日午前10時～午後3時、那須町湯本の同施設でオープンデーを開く。誰でも参加でき、入場無料だが一部のプログラムは有料。施設と周辺施設の魅力を知ってもらう趣旨で、那須高原ビジターセンター、那須どうぶつ王国、とちぎ海浜自然の家、那須平成の森などが協力し、ツリークライミング、スノードーム作り、森の音当てクイズなどを予定する。那須高原小学校の児童による太鼓演奏、体育館のミニゲーム、館内スタンプラリー、日帰り温泉もある。上履きと、入浴する人はバスタオルを持参する。発表本文では各プログラムの個別料金は示していない。
