Otaru plans to hold a first-aid instructor training course on February 15, 16 and 17, 2027, provided at least ten people have applied two months before the course. Participants must be able to attend all three days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the fire headquarters’ first-floor disaster-response room.
The course is intended for people who will teach first aid within workplaces, disaster-prevention groups or similar organisations in Otaru. The city lists an expected group of roughly ten to thirty participants and asks applicants to submit its training application form.
The qualification enables holders to instruct members of their own organisations in the standard lifesaving course. The certificate lasts three years and can be extended for another three years by taking refresher training during its validity. The city’s notice was updated on October 22.

小樽市は2027年2月15・16・17日、午前9時～午後5時に消防本部1階災害対策室で応急手当普及員養成講習を予定している。全日程に参加でき、小樽市内の職場や防災組織などで応急手当の普及啓発を行う人が対象。開催日の2か月前までに10人以上の申込みがあることが開催条件で、定員はおおむね10人以上30人まで。市の受講申請書を提出する。同資格は所属組織の従業員・構成員へ普通救命講習を指導できる認定で、認定証の有効期間は3年。有効期間内の再講習によりさらに3年延長できる。市の案内は10月22日更新。
