People considering work in Nara’s forests will be able to speak with 14 local employers at a free careers fair on November 21. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Naramachi Centre in Nara City, with registration closing at 3:30 p.m. No booking is required and visitors may attend in ordinary clothes.
The prefecture’s October 21 announcement says company representatives and people already working in forestry will answer questions about the work. Those without experience can ask about training, while a relocation adviser will be available for people considering a move to Nara.
The programme also includes short classes by instructors from the Nara Forester Academy, giving visitors a way to learn about forestry before deciding whether to pursue it as a job.

奈良県は11月21日午前10時～午後4時、奈良市ならまちセンターで林業の合同会社説明会を開く。最終受付は午後3時30分。県内14社が参加し、企業担当者や現役の林業従事者に仕事・働き方を直接相談できる。無料、予約不要、服装自由。未経験者は研修について相談でき、移住が必要な人には移住コンシェルジュが対応する。奈良県フォレスターアカデミー講師のミニ授業もあり、職業として選ぶ前に林業を知る機会となる。県の発表は10月21日。
