Gunma Prefecture plans to send ten high-school students to Indiana in the United States from October 25 to 31, 2026. Selected through an open recruitment process, the students are interested in international exchange and sharing information overseas. The programme includes visits to schools and universities, presentations about Gunma in English, exchanges with local students and visits to companies operating there. It is intended to give young people direct experience of other cultures and deepen ties under the prefecture’s cooperation agreement with Indiana.
群馬の高校生10人、10月25日からインディアナ州へ
群馬県は、公募で選んだ県内の高校生10人を、2026年10月25日から31日まで米国インディアナ州へ派遣する予定です。学校・大学の訪問、英語での群馬県の紹介、現地学生との交流、進出企業の視察などを行います。海外の文化や価値観に直接触れる機会をつくり、州との友好交流・相互協力の覚書に基づく交流を深める取り組みです。
